These MRE's are all right around 4 years old. They came from a government emergency stockpile where they were properly stored in a cooled, climate controlled facility and we have verified that. The manufacturer says that when stored at 50 degrees, where they were kept, these have a shelf life of 96 months (8 years). By policy the government agency rotates stock every 3-4 years, so that is how we scored these.
